Our work on the ExCeL International Exhibition and Conference Centre in London Docklands is progressing.
The work involves the design, manufacture and installation of the precast concrete elements of a concrete and steel ramp that will serve as an internal walkway in the ExCeL Phase 2 building. The ramp features 24 concrete panels, each of which are 7 metres long and 2.5 metres deep, and incorporate 320 circular clear glass blocks in each panel to allow light to filter through the ramp.
The contract was awarded to Evans by Sir Robert McAlpine.
