Evans Concrete, Derbyshire-based manufacturer of bespoke pre-cast concrete, has secured a new contract worth £400,000 for work at a London University.

The company has been appointed to manufacture pre-cast concrete coffered ceiling units for a new state-of-the-art building at South Bank University. 

The decorative concrete will be a feature of the ceiling on eight floors of the Keyworth II building, which will house the Faculty of Health and Social Care and Department of Education, as well as providing facilities for the Academy of Sport, Physical Activity and Wellbeing.

The £400,000 contract has been awarded by Coinford Construction and work will begin on site in October 2007.
